EntreCampos project, in Lisbon, nominated “Best New Mega Development”

• The real estate project that will transform the Entrecampos area in Lisbon/Portugal is the only finalist from the Iberian Peninsula for the prestigious award

• The nomination comes in the week that saw the announcement of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding that lays the groundwork for the construction of the Bank of Portugal’s headquarters in the area

The EntreCampos project, which is transforming one of the most emblematic areas of the Portuguese capital, continues to drive the real estate market, both nationally and internationally.

In the week in which the Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Bank of Portugal to install its headquarters in Lisbon, EntreCampos was selected as a finalist for the MIPIM awards in the “Best New Mega Development” category, the only Portuguese and Iberian Peninsula project nominated for these prestigious awards in 2025.

This initiative, promoted by MIPIM, one of the most prestigious international events in the real estate sector, rewards the best real estate projects around the world. The winners will be announced during the event, which will take place between 11 and 14 March in Cannes, France.

This nomination reinforces the relevance and scale of EntreCampos, not only in Portugal, where it stands out as the largest and most ambitious urban project of the last decades in Lisbon, but also on the international landscape, positioning itself at the level of the most innovative global developments.

About sustainability, EntreCampos will be a reference in ESG criteria. An example of this is the fact that the project has already received an unique pre-certification indices in Portugal, such as the LEED Neighbourhood Gold certification, awarded for the first time in the country, which evaluates the energy efficiency of the project as a whole; and the WiredScore Neighbourhood, awarded for the first time to a project in continental Europe, which measures the project’s technological index.

The project was designed by some of the world’s most prestigious architectural firms, Gensler and KPF, in collaboration with the Portuguese firms Promontório and Saraiva e Associados. The residential buildings were designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Portuguese architects Siza Vieira and Souto de Moura, together with Ana Costa.
