EntreCampos project, in Lisbon, wins MIPIM Awards 2025

EntreCampos was one of the winning projects at the prestigious MIPIM Awards 2025, which recognize the most visionary projects in the real estate sector and was the winner in the “Best New Mega Development” category.

EntreCampos was recognized as “Best New Mega Development” at the prestigious MIPIM Awards, an initiative promoted by MIPIM, which celebrates the industry’s most innovative, sustainable and visionary projects at a global level. The event took place on March 13th, and in all, more than 300 projects from over 30 countries applied, with 10 winners revealed among the categories.

This Fidelidade Property project is transforming one of the most emblematic areas of the Portuguese capital, and EntreCampos was the winner in the ‘Best New Mega Development’ category, competing with different international projects located in Shenzhen (China), Muscat (Oman) and Warsaw (Poland).

Sustainability has been a cornerstone in the development of the EntreCampos project and this was decisive in the jury’s choice, with this award helping to recognize the effort that has been made to make the project a pioneer in this area. As a result of this investment, EntreCampos is pre-certified as LEED Neighbourhood Gold, a certification awarded for the first time in Portugal, and which certifies the energy efficiency of the project as a whole. A key factor in this pre-certification was the choice to use a geothermal system that significantly reduces the greenhouse gas effect released by air conditioning equipment. On the other hand, the WiredScore Neighbourhood certification—awarded for the first time to a project in continental Europe—certifies the project’s high level of technological connectivity, particularly in its office and residential buildings, as well as public spaces

EntreCampos is a project that was conceived and designed in order to merge the city and openness towards the citizens, with different passageways that allow the perfect interconnection with the existing urban fabric, thus enhancing the project’s connection with the local community. EntreCampos is committed to creating various green areas that leverage different environments, promote biodiversity and are perfectly integrated into the local ecosystem. The privileged location is also a key aspect of the project’s approach: it is situated in one of the most well-connected areas of Lisbon, served by a range of mobility network and cycle paths that surrounds the area should be highlighted. These are some of the key aspects that contributed most strongly to the Portuguese project being recognized as ‘Best New Mega Development.

The project was designed by some of the world’s most renowned architectural firms, namely KPF / Saraiva + Associados, responsible for the office buildings and retail space, and Gensler / Promontório, who designed the building where Fidelidade’s future headquarters will be sited. The residential buildings were designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Portuguese architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and Eduardo Souto de Moura, in close collaboration with architect Ana Costa.

EntreCampos includes seven office buildings and three residential buildings, interconnected by an innovative set of High Street Curated Retail, an innovative concept that will have restaurants and outdoor leisure spaces, integrated into 17,000 m2 of public spaces, mostly gardens for the enjoyment of Lisbon residents and visitors.

This award reinforces the ambition and scale of EntreCampos, positioning the project as one of the most innovative, visionary and disruptive developments in the world, with an expected completion in 2027.
